Wraith Squadron is a group of Rebel Alliance pilots dedicated to rendering the visions of Freedom a reality and in the process, self-perfection. We are not limited to a specific aspect of space combat; rather, we must stand ready to complete any mission successfully, regardless of the type of mission thrown at us. Missions do not walk up to the appropriate pilots, rather, most are spontaneous and occur randomly. Thus we must be skilled in all categories of space combat. In this quest for superiority in all aspects, we must learn everything that we can.

Training is a process which does not end in a classroom, nor a flight simulator; it begins when one first learns how to operate a starfighter, and it ends when one leaves the cockpit for the last time. Thus, the learning process has no end. With this in mind, there are no limits to how skilled one can become.

Another distinguishing feature of Wraith Squadron is its cooperation with Rogue Squadron. When more forces are needed, Rogue will often call upon Wraith to fight oppression. In fact, when a position within Rogue Squadron is open, they will seek recruits from Wraith Squadron, an incentive for those who have been awed by the legendary tales of Rogue, and seek to fly with them. However, this feature should not be used as an excuse for excessive competitiveness and lack of cooperation; this is not what a squadron is about. If cooperation and camaraderie remain the cornerstone of Wraith Squadron, we will all become better pilots, the best of the best.
